Getting Started in DevOps for Financial Services
The number of organizations adopting DevOps is growing each year. According to GitLab’s 2023 Global DevSecOps Survey, the financial services sector in particular has been eager to adopt DevOps, with 64% of respondents in financial services and banking reporting that they use DevOps or DevSecOps methodologies in 2023.
But if your organization has recently adopted DevOps — or is getting ready to make the switch — you may not be entirely familiar with the tools and practices behind it. Of the financial services survey respondents who said they are using DevOps, a quarter said they have been using DevOps for less than two years. That means if you’re relatively new to DevOps, you’re certainly not alone.
