Vice President of Operations, Legend Valve
Larry Emmert is the Vice President of Operations at Legend Valve and has been in the warehousing, logistics, and IT industries for over 20 years. With Legend Valve since 2006, Emmert has focused on automation initiatives within the Legend operation with management responsibility over Legend’s Customer Service, Warehousing, Distribution, and Information Technology groups.
Emmert holds his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, earned his Juris Doctor at the Detroit College of Law, and is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan.
Royanna Chappell
VP of Strategic Accounts, 6 River Systems, Part of Ocado Group
Royanna is an accomplished supply chain practitioner who has spent more than 25 years in the Supply Chain Industry impacting business processes within distribution, transportation planning, forecasting, demand planning and systems integration.
Royanna joined 6 River Systems in 2019, initially tasked with designing and selling warehouse robotic solutions for some of the largest global supply chains. She was promoted to her current role in 2022.

David Maloney is the editorial director of DC Velocity and Supply Chain Xchange. He has been a journalist for more than 30 years and has been with DC Velocity since April of 2004. Prior to joining DCV, David was senior editor for Modern Materials Handling, where he reported on distribution and supply chain operations.
David also has extensive experience as a broadcast journalist. Before writing for supply chain publications, he was a journalist, television producer and director in Pittsburgh. David combines a background of reporting on logistics with his video production experience to bring new opportunities to DC Velocity readers, including Web-based videos highlighting top distribution and logistics facilities, Webcasts and other cross-media projects. David continues to live and work in the Pittsburgh area.
