His extensive knowledge of material handling technologies and applying them to larger end to end solutions integrated with software allows him to bring solutions to life that are highly successful and frequently replicated.

David Scheffrahn

A 25-year veteran of the high tech automation industry, David Scheffrahn spent the first half of his career selling robotic solutions to the world’s leading semiconductor, electronics, and automotive manufactures. Since 2012 he has been involved with some of the most interesting startups focussing on e-commerce intralogistics, working for Rethink Robotics, Seegrid, Plus One Robotics, and Dexterity.
In his current role, David is the North American Vice President of Sales for Ocado Intelligent Automation.“I am so excited to be part of what Ocado is doing. David Maloney is the editorial director of DC Velocity and Supply Chain Xchange. He has been a journalist for more than 30 years and has been with DC Velocity since April of 2004. David also has extensive experience as a broadcast journalist. Before writing for supply chain publications, he was a journalist, television producer and director in Pittsburgh.
